Trenton is a great base for visiting Acadia National Park and the Downeast villages of coastal Maine.
We are centrally located on Route 3 between Ellsworth and Mount Desert Island. Just minutes from Bangor, from I-95 take Exit 182A (formerly Exit 45A) to Route I-395 E, then take Exit 6A to Route 1A. Follow Route 1A to Ellsworth where it becomes Routes 1 north and 3 south. When they seperate take Route 3 south to Trenton.
Trenton is also served by a local airport and in the summer there is a free shuttle service to Mount Desert Island.
